Where I was... Where I am

From September until now, I have learn to build my confidence in presentation and I have improve my writing. ESL 4 had help me alot through out this 4 month and it also help me build my vocabulary and improving my grammars. It also help me shape my speaking and writing skills in english as I had difficult with it before, until I take this class. It also help me come up with idea and strategy to do when I read like, for example: highlighting, summarize, skimming, and re-read.

Creating Effective Prsentations

1. Make sure you understand and knows the topic of your presentation
2. Not alot of sentence and picture ( half-an-half).
3. Do Your Research and Background Info. on your topic
4. Practice your presentation before you present
5. Dont be nervous, be brave and speak clearly (voice volume)
6. Use different color template on the slide to make it interesting for other to see.
7. Colored text, make sure the audience can read your text and the text size not to big and little.
8. Careful on Spelling and Punctuation.
9. Make sure not to get off track on your Topic and Main Idea of the presentation.

How to Write an Effective Paragraph

First sentence when you write in a paragraph should be the Topic.

The sentence should connect to the Thesis Statement and the Topic.

The paragraph always include the topic and then the details and some Linking words.

Must also include Citations or Paraphrase if you take some info. in your research.
